What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order is just 12 boards — enough for a wedding party or a first retail test — with bulk pricing tiers as quantities grow.
How fast will my boards arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and finished boards ship in about 2 weeks — express turnaround is available when you are working to a closing or an event date.
Which wood should I choose?
Maple for the highest engraving contrast, walnut for depth and a subtler mark, cherry for a board that darkens beautifully with age, bamboo for volume pricing, and HDPE wherever raw protein is involved.
What is end grain and is it worth it?
End grain stands the wood fibres vertically so a knife parts them rather than cutting through. The board scars less and knives stay sharper. It costs more and needs more frequent oiling, and for a serious cook it is worth both.
Are the boards food safe?
Yes. Hardwood and bamboo are finished with food-safe mineral oil and beeswax, HDPE is NSF certified, and every board ships with a printed care card. Resin inlays are food safe for serving but should not be cut on.
Can every board be different?
Yes, and there is no per-board setup charge. Names, dates, addresses and individual artwork all run as variable data from a spreadsheet, boxed and labelled per recipient.
Do you redraw logos?
Yes, free. Send whatever file you have and our design team rebuilds it as clean vector art, adjusts strokes too fine to engrave, and shows it on the board at actual size.
Can I order a sample first?
Our minimum of 12 exists so you can hold and use the board before committing. Order a small batch, cut on one and wash it, then scale up on exactly the same file.
