A cutting board is one of the few gifts that gets used every day for twenty years. That is the whole reason it works as a closing gift, a wedding present or a corporate thank-you — and it is also why the marking method matters more than anything else about it.
Printed and vinyl-applied logos come off. Not immediately, but within a season of proper washing, which is exactly when the recipient starts using the board seriously. Laser engraving burns into the grain, so the mark is part of the wood and survives everything the board does.
Beyond that, we specify by what the board is actually for. End grain where knives matter. Bamboo where volume matters. NSF colour-coded polyethylene wherever raw protein is involved, because no amount of preference for wood changes what an inspector will say.
Why we exist
Most promotional board suppliers print or vinyl a logo onto a thin board and ship it dry. It photographs identically to an engraved, oiled hardwood board and it is a different product entirely six months later.
We engrave, we finish every board with food-safe oil and beeswax before it ships, and we put a care card in the box. A board that arrives dry and cracks in a centrally heated kitchen is a complaint the recipient blames on your brand, not on ours.

And boxed gift sets with a knife or care oil, personalised and mailed individually.
Artwork redraw is free, we adjust anything too fine to engrave, and personalisation carries no per-board setup charge.
